Once an aboveground oasis the Well Under the Blue Star is now a beautiful, cavernous oasis whose waters glisten under the light of hundreds of blue crystals that hang from the ceiling above. Once the oasis was above the ground but it was ravaged by a pair of powerful shir known as the Drinkers of Tears, it was then that the oasis's guardian, the miengu known as Vannashiai took action, collapsing the ground beneath the oasis and plunging it into the cavern below, thus creating the Well Under the Blue Star. Now most people believe that the oasis has dried up never realising the wondrous site that lies beneath the ground.[1]
