| − | Tjaden Ludendorff is a rarity, a paladin in the frozen Lands of the Linnorm Kings. He is a grizzled veteran of many winters and many wars against the giant clans and other menaces that bedevil his land, his legendary hammer and still-mighty thews always at the forefront of the fight. Though old age has slowed his step, men young enough to be his grandchildren still flock to his banner, a golden griffon and silver trident on a field of black, both for his tactical acumen and encyclopedic knowledge of warfare and for his inspiring rhetoric, laced with warm but sarcastic humor. Tjaden and his cohort and ‘blood brother’ Brian Nels Paulson (nicknamed 'Beta') are famous for their endless trove of war stories of adventures, treasures, and fair maid’s hearts won and lost, most in far-off lands unheard-of, from the highest heavens to the deepest abysses of the Outer Rifts, and even other worlds like Golarion. Some whisper that Tjaden himself may have come from such a place and is no true Ulfen Northman at all, but in the Land of the Linnorm Kings it is deeds and not birth that are the measure of a man, and Tjaden has shown himself a true leader and hero. |
