As has been mentioned before, I'd like to start merging the "abilities" of creatures into their general description, to give our entries a more "IC" flavor. My question which follows, is what do we call this category? At the moment it's called "Appearance", but this will no longer be accurate when we add in abilities. In this particular case, I called it "Description", but that seems a bit too general. I had also thought of "General Description", but that didn't sit too well with me either.

Folding "Abilities" into general description[]

As has been mentioned before, I'd like to start merging the "abilities" of creatures into their general description, to give our entries a more "IC" flavor. My question which follows, is what do we call this category? At the moment it's called "Appearance", but this will no longer be accurate when we add in abilities. In this particular case, I called it "Description", but that seems a bit too general. I had also thought of "General Description", but that didn't sit too well with me either. It could go in ecology if appearance doesn't seem like the right place. It should be handled on a case-by-case basis but I don't think we should make a new header to accommodate abilities, as that's what we're trying to eliminate. —yoda8myhead 19:36, December 27, 2009 (UTC)

I think for the most part abilities will generally belong in the habitat & ecology section though if the ability has a prominent appearance, like skin dripping with poison then it probably belongs with appearance, as Yoda8myhead said case by case is probably the best way to go.
