The Speakers of the Depths are the twin creator-gods of the protean race. Proteans describe them as being two perfect intertwined serpents, moving in and out of each other, constantly creating and devouring the world around them and themselves.
Those who have seen the keketar proteans call up manifestations of these gods have each seen completely different things, but all the manifestations are disturbing and terrible.[1]
