A rhamphorhynchus is the smallest-known species of pterosaur, a family a dinosaur-like reptiles often found in the vicinity as true dinosaurs. They are quite small, with only a five foot wingspan, a mouth full of needle-sharp teeth, and a long tail which ends in a wicked barb.[1]
