The island of Mordant Spire, on the southern tip of the Ironbound Archipelago in the Steaming Sea, remains one of the few remnants of the once great continent of Azlant. The elves who live there guard its secrets fiercely, for fear that trespassers would bring a second doom upon the world.[1]
It is rumored that aquatic varieties of gelatinous cubes can be found wandering the sunken halls of lost Azlant, but the elves of Mordant Spire drive away most explorers before they can return with proof.[2]
