The Moaning Vault serves as the palace of the loathed drow of House Parastric, the only drow noble house not to have its palace within the Cocyrdavarin. As worshippers of the foul demon lord of alchemy Haagenti the Moaning Vault is as much a laboratory as a palace, it is where all Parastrics research into the dark arts of fleshwarping and fleshcrafting go on and is doubtlessly home to many abominations against nature beyond just driders and their ilk.[1]
