Jeff Grubb is an author and game designer. He has worked on a number of computer and role-playing games and has written a number of successful novels, short stories and comics. He is perhaps best known for his contributions to the Dragonlance, Spelljammer, and Forgotten Realms campaign settings and the Advanced Dungeons & Dragons Manual of the Planes and Unearthed Arcana. Jeff has designed more than just D&D material, though, and was the lead designer of the "Marvel Super Heroes game, as well as a designer for such systems as Star Wars Roleplaying Game, D20 Modern, and Urban Arcana. Additionally, his many Forgotten Realms, Magic: The Gatherings, and Warcraft novels have also garnered him notoriety among the ranks of fantasy fiction writers.[1]

At PaizoCon 2009, James L. Sutter announced that Grubb would be writing a six-part work of serial fiction as part of the ongoing Pathfinder's Journal series which would appear in each volume of the Kingmaker adventure path and have a more comedic tone than previous pieces in the series.
