Firing two bolts at once, the double crossbow is a large, heavy weapon. Because of the two different bows incorporated into this weapon, it takes twice as long to reload as a normal crossbow. The weight of the double crossbow forces people to train with it if they want to be an accurate shot. [1] Many minotaurs favor the double crossbow to deal with threats from afar before dealing with them in hand to hand combat. [2]
